Our Story

On September 2021, amidst COVID, a group of 25 individuals were sent from Park Community Church - South Loop and Bridgeport to plant a new church location in the Hyde Park Neighborhood. We experienced many ups and downs due finding a space to meet, COVID numbers, and the transient nature of the city. But we continued to stay faithful amidst all the challenges.

God continued to grow us as a community and slowly add to our numbers. Whether it was during our Sunday Gatherings, our engagement with the neighborhood, or just one-on-one relationships, God was with us. After a year, we moved our Sunday Gatherings to Ray Elementary School and built a partnership with them. 

As head into our third year and beyond, we are so excited for what's ahead. Whether it's our partnerships with organizations that serve the city, or new students joining our community from the University, or people confessing Christ and being baptized, or others growing deeper with Christ and one another. We are grateful and excited for what God has in store for us.
