About Global Missions at Park
For many years, Park Community Church has prioritized the work of global missions. Missions is not just a department of the Church, but rather missions is baked into the DNA of who we are. At this moment, there are over forty missionaries across the globe who have been raised up, trained, sent, and supported by Park.
We also believe that every Christian is a global Christian. While some will be called to move to a new nation somewhere across the globe as a missionary, we are all invited to live missionally wherever we are. Especially in a city like Chicago, there are countless opportunities to see what God is doing among the nations right at our doorstep.
There are tons of ways to get involved globally at Park. From short term mission trips to visit our full time missionaries and see and be a part of the work they are doing, to local events aimed at fostering a more global worldview, to first steps evenings where those who are beginning to sense a call to the mission field can connect with others who are considering likewise. Everybody has a next step.
